About Me

Hi! My name is Jett and I use they/them pronouns. I’m a queer, trans, fat, neurodivergent, chronically ill & non-monogamous white settler therapist currently residing on Treaty 1 territory (wînipêk). I hold a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from the University of Manitoba and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Wilfrid Laurier University. I have been working in the therapy & social services field since 2015.

I strive to cultivate a non-judgmental, anti-oppressive, collaborative, liberatory & trauma-informed therapeutic space. I welcome clients in non-traditional relationship structures (e.g., open relationships, non-monogamy, relationship hierarchy, polyamory, etc.) and am BDSM, fetish & kink affirming. I am sex & body positive and support the full decriminalization of sex work. I practice harm reduction and believe that you are the expert in your life. My goal is to support you in ways that feel helpful, nourishing & encouraging.

I use an eclectic therapeutic approach that draws from strengths-based, feminist, attachment, Internal Family Systems, polyvagal theory, and somatic therapies. Part of my approach includes contextualizing your embodied experiences of systemic oppression and noticing sites of resistance that have helped keep you, your kin, and your community safe amidst the targeted violence of white supremacy, colonization, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, fatphobia, saneism, whorephobia, xenophobia, serophobia, and classism. I also embrace an anti-diet, weight-neutral, and fat liberation perspective when discussing food & bodies and am particularly attuned to moving alongside folks in larger bodies through challenges with eating, size, and body image.

I am currently accepting clients ages 18+ in Manitoba and Ontario. I am also an approved provider with both the NIHB & IFHP and can direct bill for clients who qualify for these programs.

I look forward to meeting with you!
